Yoga Therapy for Anahata (Heart) Chakra
- Connect with Your Heart

The first three chakras built our foundation and allowed us to acknowledge our basic needs, wants, drives and actions. The fourth chakra enters a completely new realm, a realm that really makes us unique as human beings. Enter the universe of feelings and emotions that rest in the heart. We will use tools and techniques from Integrative Yoga Therapy. This workshop will include lecture, body awareness exercises, yoga poses, mudras and more. Homework with be given to encourage you to continue self work until we meet next. This workshop is open to those taking the whole series as well as those who want to take individual workshops along the way. Join us to dive deeper into the mysteries located in the heart center, this center point between matter and spirit.

Yoga Therapy for Vishuddha (Throat) Chakra
- Connect with Your Truth

As we move into the higher realms we begin to move beyond the personality and into the realm of the spirit. Vishuddha chakra is the bridge between the heart and the 3rd eye and serves to communicate their wisdom. Purification within the throat chakra is needed to connect with our intuition and our own true voice. Begin to travel the path to your own True Self. We will use tools and techniques from Integrative Yoga Therapy. This workshop will include lecture, body awareness exercises, yoga poses, mudras, mantra and more. This workshop will contain simple neck and shoulder movements and may contain some more advanced yoga postures such as shoulderstand. Homework with be given to encourage you to continue self work until we meet next. This workshop is open to those taking the whole series as well as those who want to take individual workshops along the way.

The purification and transformation of the personality happens at the 5th chakra so that we may cross the bridge into the realm of the Spirit. The 6th chakra relates to our sense of sight and our ability to see the whole of who we are from the point of the witness. Move beyond your limited self and into the light of awareness and the bliss that is your own true nature. This workshop will contain various tools and techniques from Integrative Yoga Therapy as well as traditional hatha yoga practices. Homework will be given to encourage you to continue self work until we meet next. UNWINDING THE LOTUS
Self-care for Healing in a Stress Filled World

Fear, stress and trauma are experienced in our bodies.   They express themselves in our posture, clenched muscles, breath and emotions.  They can become a part of our self-image, our view of the world, our inability to trust ourselves and others.  Many times we try to shove things away through various coping patterns.  The body continues to send us signs and signals that we cannot ignore by creating imbalances and symptoms.  Through the science of yoga and psychology we will learn to listen more deeply, move with rather than against our symptoms, unwind unhelpful patterns and open more fully to our lives .  In the classes, we will use posture, imagery, breath awareness, journaling,  mapping,  and use our physical and emotional symptoms  to practice the art of listening and transforming what ails us.   It is a way of honoring our symptoms as reminders and helpers in the process of finding and maintaining health and balance.

IYT (Integrative Yoga Therapy) for Women with Chronic Hip, Low Back or Sciatic Pain - 8 Week Series

8 weeks + private intake
Includes 1hr private intake before the class begins.

This 8-week Integrative Yoga Therapy series is specifically for women who have chronic hip, low back and/or sciatic pain. Integrative yoga therapy works at all levels of the individual; physical, mental/emotional and spiritual.

Chronic pain is defined as pain that lasts longer than 6 months. For those living with chronic pain, the signals of pain can remain active in the nervous system for weeks, months or even years. This can take both a physical and emotional toll on a person. Long lasting pain can affect your desire to do many of the activities of daily life. Chronic pain affects sleep, sex life, sitting in long business meetings and can even lead to anxiety and/or depression.

Build a community with other women living with similar pain issues while at the same time connecting deeper within yourself. Throughout the Integrative Yoga Therapy series we will use education, awareness exercises, breath, mudras, simple conscious movements, yoga poses, along with guided imagery, yoga nidra and meditation.
